Coronavirus: Delhi reports 576 new Covid-19 cases as positivity rate dips to 0.78 percent

Coronavirus Delhi Updates: With 576 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the COVID-19 positivity rate in Delhi on Wednesday reached 0.78 percent. As per the coronavirus updates given by the Health Department, Delhi on Wednesday reported 576 new cases of COVID-19 (positivity rate 0.78 percent), 103 deaths, and 1,287 recoveries in the last 24 hours. In view of uncertain conditions due to COVID-19 and feedback obtained from stakeholders, it has decided on Tuesday that Class 12 Board Exams 2021 would not be held this year. CBSE would take steps to compile results of Class 12 students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner, the government said. Coronavirus Delhi Updates: With 576 new cases of coronavirus in last 24 hours, COVID-19 positivity rate in Delhi reached 0.78 percent. To this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who had earlier suggested the Centre to cancel the board exams, said that "I am glad 12th exams have been cancelled. All of us were very worried abt the health of our children. A big relief." Likewise, Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia welcomed the decision.
