Coronavirus Update: Punjab's COVID-19 tally rises to 1,39,869
Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,39,869 after 692 new COVID-19 cases were reported from the state in the last 24 hours, as of Thursday evening.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department giving coronavirus update, the death toll in the state has increased to 4,412 after 23 new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
Bathinda reported 2 new deaths, Ferozepur 3, Jalandhar 2, Kapurthala 2, Ludhiana 2, SAS Nagar 2, Muktsar 1, Pathankot 2, Patiala 4, Ropar 2, and Sangrur 1.
The total number of COVID-19 recoveries in the state has increased to 1,30,018 after 469 new recoveries were reported from the state.
Ludhiana reported 114 new recoveries while Jalandhar reported 50, Patiala 30, SAS Nagar 53, Amritsar 5, Gurdaspur 13, Bathinda 47, Hoshiarpur 26, Pathankot 29, Sangrur 16, Kapurthala 3, Faridkot 4, Muktsar 15, Fazilka 25, Ropar 12, FG Sahib 3, Barnala 4, Tarn Taran 4, SBS Nagar 9, and Mansa 7.
Among the new coronavirus cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 88 new cases, Jalandhar 74, Patiala 84, SAS Nagar 132, Amritsar 42, Gurdaspur 25, Bathinda 53, and Hoshiarpur 27.
Likewise, Ferozepur reported 9 new cases, Pathankot 17, Sangrur 4, Kapurthala 12, Faridkot 20, Muktsar 20, Fazilka 17, Moga 9, Ropar 31, FG Sahib 2, Barnala 4, Tarn Taran 0, SBS Nagar 14, and Mansa 8.
