Covid strain in India: No fresh case of mutant strain reported in last 24 hours
Covid strain in India: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Sunday stated that no fresh case of the new mutant strain of coronavirus was reported in the last 24 hours in India.
Meanwhile, the cases of the new mutant strain of coronavirus stand at 90.
So far, a total of 17 people have tested positive for the new mutant coronavirus strain in Delhi while 10 of them have been discharged after recovery.

After the new strain was detected in the United Kingdom in December, the Delhi government started a door-to-door medical check-up for those who arrived from the UK.
Likewise, the India-UK flights were also suspended to contain the spread of Covid strain.
In the wake of the Covid strain in India, the Delhi government has announced a slew of measures to contain the spread of the virus.

All those arriving from the UK, who test positive will be isolated in an isolation facility, the order stated.
On the other hand, the negative ones will be taken to a quarantine facility for 7 days followed by 7 days of home quarantine, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said.
