Delhi experiences Chilly winter morning and very poor air on Tuesday
Country’s capital woke up to a chilly morning and ‘very poor’ air on Tuesday. The minimum temperature dropped to 5.1 degree Celsius while the air quality continues to deteriorate in New Delhi.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the mist covered the Delhi sky earlier in the day, but there would be no signs of clouds for the rest of the day. Also, later in the day, when the temperature starts dropping, haze and smoke would start appearing.

The minimum temperature of Delhi is expected to be around 5 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature could reach 23 degree Celsius, according to IMD.

The experts advised not to go out for running or jogging or cycling early in the morning and after sunset. They also advised the citizens of Delhi to wear N-95 or P-100 respirators when stepping out from their homes or offices.
