Diljit Dosanjh To Star In Ekta's Debut Punjabi Production
Mumbai: Actor Diljit Dosanjh is set to play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's maiden Punjabi production venture "Super Singh". The movie will be directed by the National award-winning filmmaker Anurag Singh. Anurag and Diljit have previously worked together on films such as the "Jatt & Juliet" series and "Punjab 1984" (2014). "It's been my long cherished dream to give Punjabi audiences their own super hero. It fills me with pride that this dream is finally coming to life. What has made it even more special is that I get to make this dream come alive with my favourite director Anurag," Diljit said in a statement. The film will hit the theatres in June 2017. Diljit will next be seen with Anushka Sharma in her home production, "Phillauri". - By PTI
