Earlier, in October, Dharmendra was admitted to the same hospital for a routine medical check-up. Concerns had arisen when fans saw news reports about his hospitalisation. The team explained, “Given his age, he undergoes periodic medical tests. Someone may have spotted him and speculated. He is absolutely fine.”
In the days following, Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini, reassured fans about his health while interacting with the media at the Mumbai airport, confirming that he was recovering well.
Dharmendra, who will turn 90 this December, remains active professionally. He is set to appear in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming biographical war drama 'Ikkis', alongside Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat, scheduled for a December theatrical release.
