IND vs PAK: Anushka Sharma pens appreciation note for Virat Kohli as he scores century
PTC News Desk: Virat Kohli once again showed why he is the star batter with his fantastic performance during India vs. Pakistan match.
On Monday, the 34-year-old scored a century and completed the 13,000-run milestone in ODI cricket at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
After witnessing Kohli's vital knock against archrival Pakistan in their Asia Cup Super Four match, social media users praised him. His wife, actor Anushka Sharma, also penned an appreciation note.
Anushka shared a photo of Kohli from the moment he hit the century on her Instagram Story.
"Super knock, super guy," she captioned it.
Bhawna, Virat's sister, was beaming with delight as well.
"Proud of you Virat God bless always," she said on Instagram.
Kohli finished his batting with an undefeated 122 off 94 deliveries, while KL Rahul hit an explosive 111 off 106 balls. After rain stopped the match on Sunday, India resumed play on the scheduled day at 147-2. When play was halted due to rain yesterday, KL Rahul (17*) and Virat Kohli (8*) were at the crease.
