As the curtains closed, "Oppenheimer" walked away with seven trophies, including Best Picture and Best Director. Meanwhile, Emma Stone secured the Best Actress award for her captivating performance in "Poor Things."


Billie Eilish clinched her second Oscar for her enchanting song featured in "Barbie," marking a historic win alongside Cillian Murphy, who became the first-ever Irish-born recipient of the Best Actor award.

This year's Oscars delighted many super-fans by reverting to their classic presenting format, with past winners announcing nominees for the four acting categories. Personal tributes added moments of genuine emotion, notably when Da'Vine Joy Randolph was nearly moved to tears by Lupita Nyong'o's heartfelt introduction.

Randolph's emotional acceptance speech further touched hearts as she received the trophy for Best Supporting Actress, marking her first win after her initial nomination. "I never thought I should pursue this as a career," she expressed. "For so long, I always wanted to be different, and now I realise I just need to be myself. And I thank you. I thank you for seeing me."
