Ranveer Singh Birthday : Bollywood's quirkiest dressed star, Ranveer Singh, who turns 39 today, is an actor not only known for his unconventional sartorial choices but also for establishing himself as one of India's most bankable stars, delivering a series of hits year after year.

His flamboyance, craziness and eccentric antics never fail to pull the audience's attention, promising them a maverick surprise each time he hits the public gaze, on or off the screen.


Born in 1985 to Mr Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and Mrs Anju Bhavnani, Ranveer's journey from a young boy in Mumbai to a leading star in the Indian film industry is nothing short of inspiring.

Early Life and Passion for Acting

From a young age, Ranveer displayed a keen interest in acting. His dedication to the craft was evident even during his school days, where he participated in various plays and performances. Ranveer began dating actress Deepika Padukone in 2012, and the couple married in a private ceremony in Italy in 2018. In March, they announced they were expecting their first child, with the due date set for September.

Bajirao Mastani narrates the story of the Maratha Peshwa Bajirao I (1700–1740) and his second wife, Mastani. Ranveer Singh played the role of  Peshwa Bajirao Ballal and  Deepika Padukone as Mastani.Movie  has won 7 National Film Awards, including Best Direction (Bhansali) and Best Supporting Actress (Azmi). Grossing  revenue over ₹356.2 crore .

Padmaavat

Padmaavat is Hindi-language historical drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, a Rajput queen known for her beauty, wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh, played by Shahid Kapoor. Sultan Alauddin Khilji, played by Ranveer Singh, hears of her beauty and attacks her kingdom to enslave her. Padmaavat is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.

Simmba

After portraying a powerful dark character in SLB's 'Padmaavat', Ranveer took up a completely different role with the action-comedy film 'Simmba', yet again proving his range as an actor.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, 'Simmba', which also starred Sara Ali Khan, follows Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao (Ranveer), a corrupt police officer who works for Durva, a big drug smuggler. When Durva's brothers rape and murder a girl close to Simmba, he decides to go on the path of righteousness to avenge her

Gully Boy

Gully Boy is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film directed by Zoya Akhtarand Ranveer Singh as Murad Ahmed a.k.a. Gully Boy. Murad, struggles to convey his views on social issues and life in Dharavi through rapping.The biggest life lesson we could learn from Gully Boy is life is all  about good times and bad times.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani  is Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy family drama directed by Karan Johar. Punjabi Rocky( Ranveer Singh) and intellectual Bengali journalist Rani ( Alia Bhatt) fall in love despite their differences. After facing family opposition, they decide to live with each other's relatives for three months before getting married.
