Free Covid-19 vaccination for adults in India from today; Here's all you need to know
The move is aimed to provide free coronavirus vaccines to all adults in India to give a boost to the COVID-19 vaccination drive. As of June 21, India has administered over 30 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

Union Minister Amit Shah said that it was an important decision, regarding free Covid-19 vaccination for adults in India from today, PM Narendra Modi that from June 21 people above the age of 18 will be vaccinated free of cost by the central govt and the process of vaccination will be sped up.

On June 7, PM had announced that all citizens aged 18 and above will be vaccinated free of cost from June 21.
This is being done in line with the central government's decision to distribute doses to states.
