Jammu and Kashmir: Innovator develops life-saving blood transport drone

Srinagar, July 16: Aban Habib, an innovative inventor from Srinagar, has created a groundbreaking drone that is set to revolutionize blood transportation and improve healthcare accessibility, particularly in remote areas of India. After witnessing the challenges faced during natural disasters, Aban dedicated himself to perfecting his drone technology to transport blood samples and pouches between hospitals.

Initial tests conducted in Himachal Pradesh were highly successful, with the drone connecting 20-25 satellite hospitals with the main hospital, covering distances over 70 kilometers.

The drone's impressive speed of 80 kilometers per hour ensures swift delivery of critical medical supplies. Aban expanded his experiment to interstate connections, linking hospitals in Shimla to Chandigarh.

Despite facing limited support from the administration and regulatory constraints, Aban remained undeterred in his mission. To overcome these hurdles, he debuted the drone in Himachal Pradesh first to gather data and demonstrate its benefits before implementing it in the Kashmir valley. The unique geographical circumstances of both regions necessitated innovative solutions, and Aban recognized the potential of utilizing the free space in the atmosphere.

Aban not only worked diligently on the project but also collaborated with corporate entities outside of Kashmir, leveraging their expertise and resources to further develop his drone technology. To implement the same service in the Kashmir valley, he seeks financial assistance to commence the initiative. Aban envisions not only saving lives but also creating opportunities for the youth through this drone-based business.
