Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education declares Class XII results The results of Class 12th Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBSE) was declared on Tuesday. Girls dominated top positions in Arts, Science and Commerce streams in Class XII. In Arts stream, Akshama Thakur from Hamirpur bagged the top position, Garima Mahajan from Chamba and Kewal from Chamba came second and third. In commerce stream, Saijal Arora from Sirmour topped, Prachi Chauhan from Nahan came second and Shaksham Lohia from Kahan came third. In Science stream, Sahil Kattan from Bagwara area of Hamirpur topped, Vikrant Rewal from Pungh Sundernagar area in Sirmour and Samridhi Sehgal from Hamirpur district bagged second and third positions. The overall pass percentage was 70.18 per cent.A total of 98,281 students had appeared in the examinations out of which 68.621 passed, while another 15,785 will have to reappear in one subject. -PTC News
