Karnal lathicharge: With farmers all set to gherao the Mini-Secretariat in Karnal, Haryana, on September 7, the district administration on Monday announced the suspension of Internet services from 12.30 am on Tuesday (September 7). All forms of telecom Internet services (2G/3G/4G/CDMA/GPRS), SMS services and dongle services provided on mobile networks would remain suspended, hours before farmers' proposed gherao call of the Mini-Secretariat in Karnal in protest over police action on agitating farmers on August 28.
