The Khanna police claims to have recovered 1 kg heroin worth Rs 5 crore in the international market by arresting two Nigerian national.

The accused has been identified as Akey Vincent and John Nevene who had been residing in Delhi for past five years.

Khanna Senior Superitendednt of Police (SSP) Dhruv Dahiya said a police party during a naka near the Canal Bridge, Neelon, saw two foreigners walking towards Neelon Khurd village after descending from a bus that was coming from the Chandigarh side.

During checking, the police recovered 1 kg heroin and 1kg ice drug.The police has registered a case under Section 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS against the accused.
