New advisor to Chandigarh Administrator Manoj Kumar Parida assumed office from the outgoing Advisor to Chandigarh Administrator Parimal Rai on Tuesday.

Manoj Kumar Parida was appointed as the advisor to Chandigarh Administrator on December 18.

Manoj Parida, a 1986-batch IAS officer had held several key posts. He has remained at the post of Home Secretary, Principal Secretary (PWD), Principal Secretary (urban development) in the Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government. He has also hold the key post of chairman-cum-managing director of Delhi Financial Corporation
