T20 World Cup 2020, where the hosts will take on unbeaten India at Melbourne Cricket ground on Sunday. Australia defeated South Africa in a rain-marred match by 5 runs (DLS method). Schutt bagged 2 wickets and gave just 17 runs in her 4 overs to restrict South African chase.
"I just hate playing India"
Ahead of the World Cup final, the Australian pacer recalled the moment when she was thrashed in the tournament opener against India. Shafali Verma had smashed four boundaries in the opening over. Schutt was quoted by the official ICC website as saying, "I just hate playing India - they’ve got the wood over me."
"It couldn’t really be a bigger challenge for us"
While speaking about the final against India, Megan Schutt described that it is the biggest challenge to face India. She said that "It couldn’t really be a bigger challenge for us." She further said that "It’s not really a bad thing; it’s good that we’re going up against a team they’ve played a lot recently and it’s the same for them as well."

An unbeaten run in the group matches helped India to get into its maiden Women’s T20 World Cup final. The continuous rain delayed the toss and eventually, the semifinal was called off without a ball being bowled leaving England players in tears, on Thursday. India will take on Australia on Sunday, which also happens to be International Women’s Day.
