A woman was injured in an acid attack at PAP Chowk in Jalandhar on Wednesday morning.

The victim was attacked with acid by two motorcycle-borne youths when she was going for her college. She was rushed to a hospital by the localites.

According to police, “Two unidentified youths with faces covered came on motorcycle and threw acid at her and fled away.

A case under Section 326 A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at police station against the unidentified attackers.
