10 killed in powerful explosion outside Frontier Corps HQ in Pakistan's Quetta
PTC News Desk: At least ten people were killed and several others injured after a massive explosion hit Quetta in Pakistan's Balochistan province. The bomb went off outside Frontier Corps Headquarters on Zarghun Road in Quetta on Tuesday afternoon.
The blast was so powerful that it shattered the windows of nearby houses and buildings with loud noise heard across Model Town and adjoining areas. A CCTV video has emerged on social media showing the moment a powerful explosion hit a busy road.

The powerful blast was followed by gunfire in Quetta, near the HQ of the Frontier Corps.

Soon after gunshots were heared, triggering panic and fear amongst the residents. Two FC personnel were also reportedly injured in the gunfire and blast.
Several teams of police and rescue teams reached the spot and the area has been cordoned off for a search operation, according to a report by Pakistan's Aaj news.
In view of the situation, a state of emergency has been declared across the city, fearing mass casualties.
