3 infiltrators killed as forces corner terrorists in Jammu Kashmir's Kupwara
PTC News Desk: Three infiltrators were killed in two anti-infiltration operations in the Kumkadi and Tangdhar sectors of north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Thursday, according to the Indian Army.
One terrorist was neutralised in the Tangdhar area, while the other two were killed in the Machhal district.
According to the Indian Army, two operations were started in the Machhal and Tangdhar sectors on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.
According to a top official, in the ongoing anti-infiltration operation, two militant bodies were seen from a distance in the Kumkadi area and one militant body in the Tangdhar area.
The search operation has been hampered by severe weather, with heavy rain falling in the area. When the weather improves, operations in the area will resume, he added.
