Delhi-bound Vistara flight diverted to Lucknow due to air traffic congestion
PTC News Desk: Due to air traffic congestion at Delhi airport on Monday, a Vistara flight from Kolkata to Delhi was diverted to Lucknow. Flight UK778 has been diverted to Lucknow and is scheduled to arrive at 1845 hours.
"UK778 from Kolkata to Delhi (CCU-DEL) has been diverted to Lucknow (LKO) due to Air Traffic congestion at Delhi airport and is expected to arrive in Lucknow at 1845 hours. Please stay tuned for further updates," Vistara said.
Previously, a technical issue delayed the departure of a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to Gwalior on Sunday.
Flight SG-429's scheduled departure time of 08:35 a.m. was delayed as the aircraft returned to the airport bay due to a reported technical problem.
A SpiceJet spokesperson confirmed the problem and stated that the flight's departure time had been changed.
"SpiceJet flight SG 429 returned to the bay due to a technical issue. The flight's departure time was revised and will depart shortly for Gwalior."
