Ed Sheeran's street gig stopped by Bengaluru police; fans react as video goes viral
PTC News Desk: The Bengaluru police stopped singer Ed Sheeran's impromptu street gig at Church Street on Sunday. The police stated that permission was not granted to hold such a session.
The singer began his street jamming session with his famous 'Shape of You'. However in no time Bengaluru police intervened and disconnected the cables as Ed watches them.
The popular British singer is currently touring India as part of his concert series, having already performed in Hyderabad and Chennai. During his Chennai show, he was joined on stage by the legendary composer AR Rahman, and together they performed a rendition of the iconic "Urvashi" song.
Before the concert, Ed Sheeran met with AR Rahman and his son AR Ameen. Rahman shared pictures from their meeting on Instagram, one showing them sitting on a couch, and another featuring Rahman at his music console while Sheeran took a photo. "Photos by Ed Sheeran," Rahman wrote in the caption.
Ed Sheeran is scheduled to perform in Karnataka tonight and will next be seen in Shillong and Delhi NCR.
