Famous astrologer and actor Ayushmann Khurrana's father P Khurrana no more; was suffering from rare ailment
PTC Web Desk: Famous astrologer and Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana's father P Khurrana died on Friday. He took his last breath at a private hospital in Mohali.
As per family members, his body cells had started degenerating, a very rare ailment. The disease hit the heart, lungs and kidney. He died peacefully this afternoon at Mohali's Fortis Hospital, where he had been admitted for the past few days. The last rites will be conducted at Manimajra crematorium on May 19 evening.
It has come as a major setback for actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who was to be honoured with DLitt by the Vice-President at Panjab University in Chandigarh on May 20.
The actor was inconsolable as he considered his father as the pillar of the family. He would often share his father's pictures on social media and would admire him for letting him realise his dream of becoming an actor. P Khurrana is survived by his wife and two actor sons Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana. He was a dotting grandfather to three kids.
In one of his interviews, Ayushmann Khurrana had shared that he was hit by his parents quite badly during his growing stage. He stated that his father astrologer P Khurana was quite strict when he was younger.
