PTC News Desk: Naturals Ice Cream announced the death of its founder, Raghunandan Kamath, in an online article. After a brief illness, he passed away on Friday night at the age of 75.

"Our condolences on the tragic passing of Late (Shri) Raghunandan Kamath, the founder and patron of Naturals Ice Cream. It's been a truly terrible and depressing day for us," the business stated.

Growing up, Kamath assisted his father in selling mangoes in the Mangaluru hamlet of Karnataka. He acquired the skill of selecting ripe fruit, picking it, and sorting it at this time.

With the goal of making handmade ice cream with actual fruit pulp, he dropped out of school at 14 and started working in his brother's restaurant.

In the Juhu project suburbs of Bombay, he established the first ice cream shop in 1984 with just six employees and a dozen flavours. He added five more stores in 1994 as a result of the increasing demand. It currently operates more than 165 stores in 15 locations.

According to the company website, Kamath created inventive machinery to maintain consistency and speed up manufacturing, drawing inspiration from his mother's methods.
