Four-year-old boy dies in attack by stray dogs in Gujarat's Surat
Surat (Gujarat), February 9: A four-year-old boy was mauled to death by stray dogs on Wednesday near Surat, Gujarat, according to police.
The incident occurred in Kareli village early in the morning when the boy went outside to answer nature's call. According to an official, at least four stray dogs attacked him and injured his neck.
“The boy and his parents hail from Rajasthan. They work as construction workers at a site in Kareli village and live in a make-shift hut there,” a police official informed.
Following the attack, the boy's parents rushed to rescue him and took him to the hospital. However, the boy couldn’t survive and was declared dead by doctors.
