Haryana gangwar: Seven injured after 30 rounds fired near police station in Dadri, probe on

PTC News Desk: Seven people were injured, including two seriously, after a group of armed men opened fire outside the City Police Station in Dadri town of Haryana's Charkhi Dadri district on Thursday.

Police believe the incident was the result of a clash between two rival gangs. An FIR has been registered, and teams have been formed to trace the attackers.

According to preliminary information, two groups came face-to-face outside the police station when the firing began. Around 30 rounds were fired, leaving a black Scorpio SUV badly damaged with bullet marks.

Police said three armed men arrived on a motorcycle, stopped the Scorpio and fired repeatedly at the vehicle before fleeing. A video of the incident has also surfaced, showing the injured men sitting inside the bullet-riddled SUV.

Soon after the attack, police sealed the area and launched a search operation to arrest the accused.

The injured have been identified as Ankit from Charkhi Dadri, Keertimaan and Sunny from Hisar, Suraj from Manheru village in Bhiwani district, Ankit from Bhiwani, Krishan from Mahendragarh and Amit from Fatehgarh.

Charkhi Dadri Superintendent of Police Lokesh Kumar said the firing appears to be linked to gang rivalry, and further investigation is underway.
