Haryana Nuh violence: After the recent clash and mob violence in south Haryana's Nuh district, the situation remains tense. The State Police have taken stringent measures to control the unrest. As part of their response, the Nuh SP, Varun Singla, has been transferred to Bhiwani, and Narender Bijarnia has taken his place as the new SP in the district.

In the aftermath of the violence, a significant number of arrests and preventive detentions have been made. At least 176 individuals have been arrested, while 78 have been taken into preventive custody. The authorities have filed 93 First Information Reports (FIRs) across five districts, with 46 FIRs in Nuh, 23 in Gurgaon, and 18 in Palwal.

To control the dissemination of potentially provocative content, the police have taken strict actions against social media posts that could incite further unrest. FIRs have been filed against individuals under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 153, 153A, 295A, 298, 504, 109, and 292. These sections encompass offenses such as promoting enmity between groups, insulting religious sentiments, and abetment.

In response to the tense situation, mobile internet services have been temporarily suspended in Nuh district to prevent any escalation through online platforms.

Haryana's Home Minister, Anil Vij, has issued an appeal for peace, urging all citizens to maintain calm and cooperate with the authorities. To maintain order, paramilitary forces have conducted flag marches in Nuh after the imposition of a curfew in the district.

As the situation remains sensitive, the government and law enforcement agencies are closely monitoring developments and taking necessary actions to restore normalcy and ensure public safety.
