According to the sources, the Indian Army ambushed Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) as it tried to attack a forward post in J&K’s Krishna Ghati sector.

India Army foils Pak attack: Three Army personnel among 7 killed along LoC

PTC News Desk: The Indian army has foiled an ambush by Pakistani intruders along the LAC and killed 7 infiltrators  including 2-3 Pakistan army personnel on the intervening night of February 4-5. The incident took place in the Krishna Ghati sector in J&K's Poonch district on the same day PoK observed Kahmir solidarity day. 


The terrorist gunned down during the operation were apparently members of Al-Badr group.

According to the sources, the Indian Army ambushed Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) as it tried to attack a forward post in J&K’s Krishna Ghati sector.

The development comes few days after Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended his intent to seek peace talks with India and resolve all the issued including Kashmir. 

India has multiple time on several platforms reiterated to Pakistan that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were, are and shall always remain an integral part of India.

Pakistan Prime Minister further asserted that the only way out to resolved issues and maintain diplomatic relations is through dialogue as mentioned in Lahore declaration 1999. The declaration was signed when then-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee visited Pakistan.

Diplomatic relations between both the countries went down the hill after Narendra Modi led NDA government scrapped article 370 revoking special status of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019.
