Maharashtra bus accident: 6 killed, several injured after two passenger buses collide
Maharashtra bus accident: In a major and shocking bus accident from Maharashtra, at least six people killed died and around 25 were injured when two luxury travel buses collided on the National Highway 6 in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district on Saturday morning.
The accident took place in the wee hours of Saturday around 2:30 am on a railway bridge on NH6 in Malkapur town in the district as per the police report.

One of the buses owned by Balaji Trawas was carrying pilgrims from the Amarnath Yatra to Hingoli, while the other bus owned by Royal Travels company was on its way from Nagpur to Nashik
The accident took place when both the buses overtook each other at Nandur Naka and collided.
The passengers with major injuries were admitted to hospital in Buldhana, rest other 32 passengers with minor injuries were given first-aid at nearby Gurdwara.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared his heartfelt condolences towards those 6 people who lose their lives during the accident.
He also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF (Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund) for the next of kin of those who died in the bus accident. PM Modi also announced Rs 50,000 to those who got injured during the accident.
