NIA conducts raids across eight locations in Kashmir in connection with probe into 'white collar terror module'
PTC News Desk: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is condcuting raids across Kashmir in connection with probe into the 'white collar terror module' that was behind the car explosion in Delhi that left 15 people dead and injured several others.
The raids have been carried out across eight locations in Kashmir including Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam. Searches were also conducted at the residence of Moulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagay in Shopian, officials said.
Wagay has emerged as the mastermind of the radicalisation and recruitment of the white collar terror module busted earlier last month. The NIA took him into custody last month after taking over the investigation into the car blast last month.
Raids were also carried out at Koil, Chandgam, Malangpora and Samboora areas of Pulwama district, officials said, adding these locations were linked to people associated with the Delhi car blast case.
The central investigation agency also searched the residence of Dr Adeel Rather, who was arrested from uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur in the first week of November.
