Raja Raghuvanshi-like murder case shocks nation; man found dead a month after wedding; wife detained

PTC Web Desk: Close on the heels of Indore-based Raja Raghuvanshi's murder in Meghalaya during honeymoon, a disturbing turn of events from Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district has come to the fore. A 32-year-old man named Tejeswar was found dead in a canal nearly a week after going missing. His death has sparked serious allegations from his family, who suspect that his wife and mother-in-law played a role in what they believe was a premeditated murder driven by an extramarital affair.

Tejeswar, who worked as a private land surveyor and part-time dance instructor, had married Ishwarya on May 18. On June 17—just a month after their wedding—he mysteriously disappeared. Days later, his body was discovered in a canal, triggering shock and outrage among local residents and his relatives.

Tejeswar’s grieving family has accused his wife, Ishwarya, of having an affair with a bank employee and claims that she, along with her mother Sujatha, conspired to eliminate him. The oolice have since detained Ishwarya and her mother for questioning. A senior official, while confirming the detention, said the investigation was ongoing and refrained from confirming the family's allegations at this stage.

According to the family, Sujatha is a bank employee and her daughter was allegedly involved with one of her colleagues prior to and possibly even after the wedding. The relationship with Tejeswar reportedly developed parallelly, leading to marriage despite initial opposition from his family. They claim the wedding was initially planned for February but was postponed after Ishwarya briefly went missing. Upon her return, she professed love for Tejeswar, leading to their eventual marriage in May.

The case draws eerie parallels with the recent high-profile murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, who was killed on his honeymoon, allegedly at the behest of his wife and her lover.
