PTC News Desk: Amir Sarfaraz, the man responsible for Indian national Sarabjit Singh's murder in jail, was shot dead by unknown men in Lahore.

Amir Sarfaraz alias Tamba, a Pakistani underworld don, was convicted in jail for the murder of Indian national Sarabjit Singh.

Sarabjit Singh, a Punjab resident, was arrested by Pakistani authorities in 1990 on charges of espionage, claims which his family and Indian authorities strongly reject. Sarabjit Singh died of a cardiac arrest in a Lahore hospital in May 2013, after serving 23 years in a Pakistani jail.
