Sarabjit Singh's killer Amir Sarfaraz shot dead in Lahore
PTC News Desk: Amir Sarfaraz, the man responsible for Indian national Sarabjit Singh's murder in jail, was shot dead by unknown men in Lahore.
Amir Sarfaraz alias Tamba, a Pakistani underworld don, was convicted in jail for the murder of Indian national Sarabjit Singh.
Sarabjit Singh, a Punjab resident, was arrested by Pakistani authorities in 1990 on charges of espionage, claims which his family and Indian authorities strongly reject. Sarabjit Singh died of a cardiac arrest in a Lahore hospital in May 2013, after serving 23 years in a Pakistani jail.

Sarabjit Singh spent 23 years in the Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore before being attacked by inmates, including Amir Sarfraz, a few days after Afzal Guru died in India.
Sarabjit was admitted to Lahore's Jinnah Hospital with severe brain injuries after being hit in the head with bricks by a group of prisoners.
