SpiceJet flight returns to Kolkata after window crack spotted
PTC News Desk: A Mumbai-bound SpiceJet flight returned to Kolkata on Wednesday morning as the crew spotted a crack in one of the windows after take-off, officials said.
They claimed the flight, SG-515, took off from Kolkata airport at 6:17 a.m. with 176 passengers and six crew members.
The crack was first noticed by the plane's cabin crew in mid-flight. They immediately notified the pilot, who promptly contacted the Kolkata airport's air traffic control and sought permission to land, according to officials.
The plane landed safely around 7:45 am.
