Muslim woman traps teacher after watching Aniruddhacharya's video; marries him in Gorakhpur, kills him on wedding night
PTC Web Desk: In a shocking incident from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, a school teacher from Madhya Pradesh was allegedly lured into a fake marriage and brutally murdered by a woman who posed as a Hindu bride. The incident, which took place in early June, has exposed a chilling tale of deceit, greed, and premeditated murder.
The victim, Inder Kumar Tiwari, was a 45-year-old teacher and farmer from Padwar village in Majholi tehsil, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He had no living parents and resided alone in his village. A devout follower of local spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya, Tiwari had attended a religious discourse in May, where he mentioned during a public session that he owned 18 acres of land, was unmarried, and was looking for a bride. This statement, captured on video and shared online, became the basis of a criminal plot.
A woman named Shahida Bano, a resident of Deoria, spotted the video with her boyfriend Kaushal. The two devised a plan to target Tiwari. Kaushal contacted him on May 17, pretending to be Shahida's brother, and sent her photo to Tiwari via WhatsApp. Shahida, posing as ‘Khushi Tiwari’, created a fake Facebook profile and began chatting with the teacher.
After days of communication, the fake relationship escalated. Kaushal visited Jabalpur on May 26 to formally propose marriage on Shahida's behalf, showing her photo and convincing Tiwari that she was Hindu. The marriage was fixed for June 5 in Gorakhpur.
To finance the wedding, Tiwari mortgaged one acre of his land and raised approximately Rs 1.5 lakh. He also purchased gold jewellery from a local jeweller and brought along ancestral ornaments. On June 2, he travelled to Gorakhpur and checked into a hotel. The wedding was held at a temple on June 5, and photographs were sent to his family and neighbours. Tiwari told them he would return home with his new bride on June 6.
However, when Tiwari asked Shahida to accompany him to his village, she began making excuses. Sensing something suspicious, he asked for the jewellery and money he had spent on the wedding to be returned. Instead, Shahida and Kaushal convinced him to visit their village, Chak Neelkanth in Kushinagar, under the pretext of meeting her family.
There, on the evening of June 5, they allegedly murdered Tiwari with a knife, looted his jewellery, cash, and mobile phone, and dumped his body in the nearby bushes. The police found the body on June 6, and it was later identified on June 8.
Meanwhile, Shahida continued using the victim’s phone, which led the police to trace the device. After realising the police were tracking them, she switched it off. On June 27, both Shahida and Kaushal were arrested. During interrogation, they confessed to planning the murder after watching Tiwari’s viral video and realising he was wealthy and alone.
The duo admitted to creating a fake identity, manipulating the teacher emotionally, and plotting the crime from the beginning to loot him.
