Uttarakhand chopper crash: Army veteran pilot's wife struggles to hold back tears at his funeral procession
PTC News Desk: Heartbreaking scenes unfolded in Jaipur after family and friends carried out the funeral procession of Lieutenant Colonel (Retd.) Rajveer Singh Chauhan, pilot of helicopter that crashed near Kedarnath in Uttarakhand.
As people gathered to pay their homage to the Army veteran pilot, a heart wrenching video has emerged which shows his wife, Lt Colonel Deepika Chauhan struggling to hold back her tears while clutching her husband's photo.

“Lt Colonel Rajveer Singh Chauhan (Retd) was one of the seven people who died in a helicopter crash in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand on June 15. A large number of people, including relatives, friends and fellow officers, attended the funeral. The casket carrying Colonel's mortal remains was placed outside their Shastri Nagar residence where floral tributes were offered.
"A helicopter belonging to Aryan Aviation was returning from Kedarnath Dham to its base in Guptkashi when it encountered sudden adverse weather conditions in the valley. The pilot attempted to navigate the helicopter out of the valley; however, the aircraft crashed during the effort,” District Tourism Officer Rahul Chaubey said.
35-year old pilot and army veteran Rajveer lost his life in the crash. The tragedy claimed lives of seven people.
