National capital likely to receive dust storm in the evening today Delhi woke up to a partly cloudy morning on Tuesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 27 degrees Celsius. Met said there are chances of dust storms and thunderstorms by the evening. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 55 per cent. “The sky will remain partly cloudy throughout the day. By evening, there are chances of dust storm and thunder storm. However, chances of rainfall is nil,” India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said. Pre-monsoon rains likely to commence in major parts of Punjab from late 26th -27th June, confirmed India Meteorological Department, here on Monday. The pre-monsoon rains will be followed by moderate rainfall 2-4 cm from 28th to 01st July2018, the Met Department added.
There are high chances of heavy rain (more than 6 cm) at isolated places in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Moga and adjoining areas. -PTC News
