Navratri 2022: Tricity to witness unique all-women Ramleela
Zirakpur, September 23: A unique Ramleela initiative is being organized by women in Peer Muchalla area of Zirakpur, in which all the characters from Ram to Ravana will played by women. A total of 32 women are participating in this Ramleela, in which women from 7 years old to 77 years would be participating. Ramleela will start on September 26.

This Ram Leela is being conducted by private organization. The head of the organization Ekta Nagpal said that no one can give more than a woman, a woman takes care of the house like a daughter, like a sister, like a mother. Through this program we want to highlight Nari Shakti and Nari Diwas society, which women work in every field. This program is being conducted lavishly, which will cost around 20 to 25 lakh rupees. It has voice-overs being done from the best recording studios.
The process of making the stage has been going on for a week. There will be a separate stage for artists. 700 to 800 chairs will be arranged in the big hall for the audience. Ramleela will be staged from 8 to 11 pm.
