Touching of males and females is "forbidden", directions to staff in Private Universities
Under the 'dress code compliance', Private sector university in Pakistan issued directive to staff to ensure that male and female students are "at least six inches away from each other". The notice read- 'All the students are hereby directed to strictly abide by the dress code while in the university. Instructions have been issued for the disciplinary action against the violators as per the rules. Moreover, male and female students are to maintain a distance of at least 06 inches while sitting/ standing together. Touching of males and females is forbidden. Fine would be levied on the violators.' The same was shared in a tweet by Omar R Quraishi on Twitter.
