Operation Bluestar Anniversary: Akhand path begins at Akal Takht by SGPC To commemorate those killed during Operation Bluestar in 1984, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Monday started an Akhand path (non-stop recitation of gurbani) at the Akal Takht. The SGPC observes the anniversary of the army operation every year at the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs. The bhog ceremony of the akhand path for the 34th anniversary will be held on Wednesday at around 8 am.
