Pakistan unlikely to invite PM Modi for joint inauguration of Kartarpur Corridor

After its international diplomatic fiasco on the Kashmir issue, a simmering Pakistan is unlikely to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi for joint inauguration of the Kartarpur Corridor ahead of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, reports said. The much-awaited Kartarpur corridor will be inaugurated on November 9, two days before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Pakistan has announced the establishment of nearly 152 counters and provision of permits to 5,000 pilgrims on a daily basis. Pakistan has also assured airport-like facilities for pilgrims. As per reports, pilgrims will be given free food and medicines by Pakistan Gurdwara Sikh Parbhandhak Committee. Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistan counterpart Imran Khan are scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.  Pakistan has been consistently trying to mobilize international opinion on the -PTC News
