Panjab University Senate member falls to death from balcony under mysterious conditions
Panjab university (PU) senate member, Raghbir Dyal Bansal died after falling from the balcony of a room of the main guest house of the PU on Sunday morning under mysterious conditions.

According to sources, he suffered a cardiac arrest and he fell from the balcony of the room, where he was staying with his wife and daughter. He was taken to the PGIMER, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Raghbir Dyal Bansal remained a member of Senate for 14 years. He also remained as a member of the Board of Finance and was working as Assistant Professor at Govt. College, Sri Muktsar Sahib.

Meanwhile, Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh expressed deep condolences on the untimely and sad demise of PU Senate member Raghbir Dyal Bansal.
