Police arrests three Khalistani terrorists in Sonepat, weaponry seized
Sonepat, February 19:
Haryana police have arrested three people associated with Khalistan-backed terrorist organisations, informed the official on Saturday evening.
According to reports, all three miscreants are said to be associated with Khalistan Tiger Force and were receiving funding and weaponry from the terror group to increase terrorist activities in the country and poll-bound Punjab.
The news comes just a day ahead of crucial assembly elections in Punjab, which will take place on Sunday. The arrested miscreants were allegedly actively working to disrupt the poll atmosphere in the state.
The alleged Khalistan supporters were arrested by CIA-1 from the Mohana police station area. The police have also seized three foreign pistols including AK-47 and a huge amount of cartridges along with other weaponry.

The arrested miscreants have been identified as Sagar alias Binny, Sunil alias Pehalwan and Jatin alias Rajesh, residents of Juan village of Sonepat. The suspected pro-Khalistani miscreants allegedly received weapons from Punjab's Mohali and Ropar.
According to police, they were in contact with infamous Khalistani terrorists Gurjant Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Lakhvir Singh Rode and Hardeep Singh.
All three were reportedly getting funding from Pakistan, Australia and Canada and were in touch with terrorist organisations through social media.
Notably, Punjab will go to the polls on February 20. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
