BJP, Congress' poster war as parties link leaders with Pakistani officials
PTC News Desk: A poster war erupted between Congress and the BJP as both the parties linked each other's top leadership with Pakistani officials and leaders.
While the BJP's Information Department chief Amit Malviya linked Rahul Gandhi with Pakistani Army chief Asim Munir, the Bihar Congress linked PM Narendra Modi to Ex-PM of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif.
Amit Malviya took to his social media and shared the picture of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi linking him with Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir with 'One Agenda' written on it. The picture was captioned, 'What’s next for Rahul Gandhi? The Nishan-e-Pakistan?'
Malviya alleged that Rahul Gandhi is speaking the language of Pakistan and that it is not surprising.
"He hasn’t congratulated the Prime Minister on the flawless Operation Sindoor, which unmistakably showcases India’s dominance. Instead, he repeatedly asks how many jets we lost—a question that has already been addressed in the DGMO briefings. Curiously, he hasn’t once inquired about how many Pakistani jets were shot down during the conflict, or how many were destroyed while parked in their hangars when Indian forces pounded Pakistani airbases," he wrote on X.

On the other hand, Bihar Congress also shared a similar poster associating PM Modi with Pakistan's former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with a caption "Ek biryani desh par bhari."

The poster war emerged as the opposition constantly questioned Operation Sindoor and US President Donald Trump's involvment in brokering India Pakistan truce. Leader of Opposition of Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has reiterated his claims that India maintained silence over the loss of assets during Operation Sindoor, calling it a "crime" to have informed Pakistan beforehand, while citing remarks made by Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar.
