LS Polls 2024: PM Modi launches scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi; challenges to reveal deal with Ambani, Adani
Lok Sabha Polls 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched a blistering attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his Congress colleague and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and said one 'R' is looting Telangana and passing on the loot to another 'R' in Delhi.

Taking a fresh stance against Congress, PM Modi alleged that the party has been amassing black money from prominent figures like the Adani's and the Ambani's to shield them from criticism. In a pointed address on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly challenged Rahul Gandhi to disclose any financial support received from these industrial giants, as well as clarify the nature of any agreements made with them during election seasons.
While addressing a public gathering in Warangal, Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi says "No one can forget the sins of the Congress central government of 10 years ago. Every few days, a scam worth thousands of crores of rupees came to light. There were serial bomb blasts in big cities of the country...This time INDI alliance has come up with a formula of 5 years 5 PM. Just imagine, what will happen to the country if they get power. Every year there is a new PM, second year, second PM, third year, and third PM? What good can they do to the country..."

Further training his guns at Rahul, PM Modi said for years, 'Shehzada' (scion) of the Congress used to speak of '5 industrialists' but now, he only brings up "Ambani and Adani".
"However, since the election dates were declared, they (Rahul and other Congress leaders) have even stopped abusing Ambani, Adani. Why? I wish to ask the Shehzadey of the Congress: how much black money have they received from Adani, Ambani? How much (funding) did the Congress receive from them for the (ongoing) elections? I smell something wrong here. The Congress should come out and clarify to the people," PM Modi said.
Doubling down on his rhetoric against the opposition's dynastic politics, Prime Minister Modi emphasised that while the BJP prioritises the nation's interests, the Congress and BRS prioritize family interests.
He described these parties as operating on a "family first" principle, contrasting it with the BJP's focus on the nation. Prime Minister Modi criticised the Congress and BRS, alleging that corruption serves as the only common ground between them, with appeasement politics ingrained in their DNA.
He emphasised their lack of governance, labeling their approach as the "zero governance model" and stressing the urgent need to liberate Telangana from the grip of such corrupt parties.
Voting for all 17 seats in Telangana will take place on May 13 in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
The voting for the first three phases has been completed so far. The next round of voting will be held on May 7.
The Lok Sabha polls are being held across seven phases till June 1 and votes will be counted on June 4.
