Punjab: Rahul Gandhi spotted walking barefoot amid bone-chilling cold
Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab: Expecting a huge response in the state, Congress' Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday started his eight-day Punjab leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. It was kicked off from New Dana Mandi, Sirhind, Fatehgarh Sahib.
With Rahul Gandhi's decision to wear only T-shirts during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress leader was also spotted walking barefoot amid bone-chilling cold. The picture has also surfaced online. He is accompanied by PPCC chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, who also walked barefoot along with Rahul Gandhi. Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi is also seen with them.

Notably, Rahul Gandhi visited Rauza Sharifor Shaikh Ahmad al-Faruqī al-Sirhindī Dargah situated on the Sirhind-Bassi Pathana road. The picture was taken there. While others wore footwear, Rahul Gandhi probably decided to walk barefoot amid the temperature of 4 degrees Celsius at that time.
Rahul Gandhi's decision to wear only T-shirt during the Bharat Jodo Yatra came after meeting three poor girls shivering in torn clothes in Madhya Pradesh.
