President of district Mohali (urban), Baljit Singh Kumbra, dies in accident in Lalru
Baljit Singh Kumbra, Mohali District (Urban) Congress President, died in an accident in Lalru on Thursday afternoon. Two others were seriously injured in an accident.

According to PTC News, Baljit Singh Kumbra, his wife and his driver were travelling in the Fortuner car. Suddenly, its tyre burst and the car went out of control. It collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.

Baljit Singh Kumbra and motorcycle driver died on the spot. His wife was severely injured while the driver of the car sustained head injuries. As the condition of his wife deteriorated, she was referred to Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32. The body of Baljit Singh Kumbra was later brought to Derabassi.
