Passengers at Amritsar International Airport create rukus over delay in flight
Amritsar, January 6: Amid harsh weather conditions and dense fog, almost all modes of traveling are running with delay. In one such stance, Italy bound flight with delay of over 24 hours irked flyers at Shri Guru Ramdass jee international airport. Passengers, who were waiting for their flight created rukus at international airport for not facilitating them during the delay.
Flyers alleged that they were neither informed when the flight will arrive and take off, nor were they allowed to leave the airport. Nearly 150 passengers suffered from the delay caused.

The passenger said that the flight was scheduled to take off at 12:50 on the mid-night of January 4-5. According to this, their check-in was also done, but now neither the flight has been found nor their food, drink and sleeping arrangements have been made.
According to information, the flight to Italy was delayed due to fog. Due to this, the route was diverted and the flight was sent to Delhi. The flight, which arrived on January 4, reached Amritsar on December 5 night, leaving Italy-bound passengers stranded for almost 24 hours that further led to ruckus. More than 150 passengers had to wait at the airport in bitter cold conditions.
After all the rukus, the flight left for Italy late at night.
