PSEB Class 12 results declared: Girls outshine boys yet again, Supneet Kaur from Mansa topper
PSEB Class 12 results declared: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Wednesday declared the Class 12 examination results. Students can check their results on the board’s official website.
A total of 2,65,417 students appeared for the examination, out of which 2,42,755 students passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 91.46 per cent.
Girls dominated the merit list this year. Supneet Kaur from Gurukul Academy Public School, Ubba village in Mansa district, secured the first position. The second position was bagged by Suhani Chauhan of BCM Public Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, while Divanshi from Teja Singh Swatantra Memorial School, Shimlapuri, Ludhiana, stood third. All three students scored a perfect 500 out of 500 marks.
The topper belongs to the Science stream, while the students securing the second and third positions are from the Humanities stream. All three toppers are also sportspersons.
To check the result, students need to visit the official website of the Punjab School Education Board and click on the result link available on the homepage. After selecting the Class 12 result option, students must enter their roll number and name to access their marksheet. The result can then be downloaded or printed for future reference.
