Punjab: Government announces public holiday on December 28
Chandigarh, December 27: The Punjab government has declared a public holiday on December 28 in view of commemoration of Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Shaheed (Shaheedi Jor Mela). Therefore, government institutions, boards/corporations, banks and commercial establishments will also remain closed on December 28.
An official statement issued by the state government said all offices of Punjab Government, Boards/Corporations and government educational institutions, will remain close on December 27 in Fatehgarh Sahib.
