Punjab Cabinet okays facilitation centre at Delhi's IGI Airport for NRIs
PTC Web Desk: In a significant step towards enhancing the experience of NRIs arriving at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, the Punjab Cabinet, led by Bhagwant Mann, has sanctioned the establishment of a facilitation centre within the confines of the international terminal's arrival hall.
This round-the-clock facility is designed to cater to the needs of NRIs and other passengers, offering a wide array of assistance services. Among the conveniences provided, the facilitation centre at the Delhi airport would offer seating arrangements suitable for passengers and their companions. Services encompassing flight information, connections, taxi arrangements, and lost luggage inquiries will also be made available.

For those opting for taxi services, the centre will collaborate with providers offering reasonable rates. Furthermore, the facility will have access to vehicles for aiding passengers with local travel to destinations such as Punjab Bhawan and other nearby areas.
