Punjab: 12 kg of heroin seized, 2 arrested in anti-drug operation in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, October 12: In a well-coordinated intelligence operation, the Counter-Intelligence (CI) unit in Ferozepur has successfully seized 12 kilograms of heroin and apprehended two suspects.
An FIR under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been promptly registered, and an ongoing investigation is actively pursuing leads to identify both the sources and destinations of the seized contraband.
The Punjab police emphasize their unwavering commitment to realizing the vision of a drug-free Punjab, in alignment with the goals set by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
